Theoretical mowing rate (sq ft/hr) = deck width (ft) × speed (ft/min) × 60. Actual rate = theoretical × efficiency factor (0.60-0.85). Total time = lawn area / actual rate. Fuel cost = time × fuel consumption rate (gal/hr) × price/gal. Add 25-40% for trimming, edging, and blowing.
