3. Advertising

CalcBee uses Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service provided by Google LLC, to display advertisements on our site. Google AdSense helps us keep our calculators free for everyone.

a) How Google Uses Your Data

Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to CalcBee or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

b) Personalized vs. Non-Personalized Ads

Depending on your consent choices and your region, you may see personalized ads (based on your browsing history and interests) or non-personalized ads (based on contextual information such as the page content). Non-personalized ads still use cookies for frequency capping, aggregated ad reporting, and combating fraud and abuse.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by:

  • Visiting Google Ads Settings to manage your ad personalization preferences.
  • Visiting www.aboutads.info/choices to opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising.
  • Using any Google consent message shown on our site, where available, to manage your advertising choices.

For more information about how Google collects and processes data, please visit Google's Business Data Responsibility page.

4. Cookies & Tracking

CalcBee uses the following types of cookies:

  • Essential cookies: Required for the site to function and for basic security, load balancing, and consent record-keeping where required.
  • Analytics cookies: We use Google Analytics 4 and may use other aggregate analytics tools to understand site usage and traffic patterns. These tools help us measure performance and improve the site.
  • Advertising cookies: Used by Google AdSense and its partners to serve relevant ads. These may include the Google DoubleClick cookie, which enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on users' visits to CalcBee and other sites. You can opt out of the DoubleClick cookie by visiting Google Ads Settings.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings, through Google's ad controls, and through any Google consent message shown on our site where required. Disabling advertising cookies will not affect core calculator functionality.

5. Calculator Data

All calculations are performed entirely in your browser. No input data is sent to our servers. We do not collect, store, or process the numbers you enter into any calculator.

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We choose providers that comply with applicable data protection regulations.
